LunarModule3D is a unique lunar lander style game that mixes classic arcade action with realistic environments. The game takes you through 5 real locations on the moon including the Apollo 11,14,16, and 17 landing sites along with Tycho crater. All of the lunar environments have been generated from actual photos of the moon using shape from shading technology.
The goal of the game is simply to land the Lunar Module on all of the red landing sites by using the accelerometer for control. As you progress through the game, the missions become increasingly difficult and require you to land on more landing sites, some of which are hidden in deep craters or behind large mountains. At some point in the game you will even be required to refuel by landing on special blue landing sites. Each later flight will require careful planning and skilled piloting.
